E-PROPS PROPELLERS
Carbon-titanium propellers for light aircraft and drones, made in France since 2008
About E-PROPS PROPELLERS
E-Props makes carbon and titanium propellers for aircraft, ultralights, paramotors and drones. It is based at Sisteron Airfield in Vaumeilh, France. The company's motto is that light is right and strength is core.
The company runs three product lines. The aircraft and ultralight line uses carbon-titanium propellers that are ultra-light and high performance. Some models carry EASA CS-P certification, and the company says all its propellers meet the ASTM standard. The paramotor line uses 100 percent carbon propellers, with more than 4,500 models available. The drone line offers ultra-light and durable propellers in a wide range of models, backed by high production capacity.
For aircraft, E-Props lists propellers for more than 1,400 aircraft models in its online shop. Customers can search by the name of their aircraft. Durandal and Excalibur are propellers for geared engines with ground-adjustable pitch. Glorieuse is a propeller with in-flight variable pitch. Ascalon is made for direct drive engines and has ground-adjustable pitch. The company also sells special propellers and accessories, such as ESU spacers, spinners and adapters. It publishes manuals for installation, operation and CAD.
E-Props says its propellers raise speed and climb rate and add safety at take-off. It says they are strong, with a high safety margin and a time between overhauls of up to 4000 hours. They are also very light. A three-blade general aviation propeller weighs about 2 kg, and a three-blade certified propeller about 4 kg.
The company explains its design and manufacturing methods on its pages for customers. These cover its blade profiles, tests, titanium parts, balancing and tracking. It also offers calculators, service bulletins and information on propeller overhaul times.
Customers order through the company's online store. E-Props offers a six-month money back guarantee. It shows more than 1,300 pilot reviews and hundreds of photos of its propellers fitted to aircraft.
