Dayton-Granger

Dayton-Granger, Inc. (DG) designs, tests and manufactures antennas, electrostatic protection and lightning protection products for military, commercial and general aviation aircraft. The third generation, family owned company was founded in Dayton, Ohio in 1943 as Dayton Aircraft Products and has been based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since 1955.

Testing facilities

DG runs in-house electrical and environmental labs used on its own products. These include anechoic chambers, two outdoor antenna test ranges, mock-ups for conformal antenna testing, a lightning direct effects lab with Marx impulse and high current generators, and climatic and dynamics labs for DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 testing. Program-specific testing can be arranged. The largest radome it has tested is a DC-10 nose radome.

Quality

The company states that its products are manufactured in a facility whose quality management system is registered to AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015. It obtained its first ISO certification in 2000.
