Damos Aviation Services, Inc.

Damos Aviation Services, Inc. is a pilot screening and selection firm. The site places its headquarters in the Greater Chicago area, Illinois, and says the main office is close to O'Hare International Airport. The company was founded in 1995 and is described as a small, woman-owned business.

The company helps air carriers and flight schools screen and hire pilots. Its work includes reviewing a client's current screening system and suggesting changes to interviews and added testing. It can also choose standardized tests and negotiate prices with test vendors.

Testing services include online test administration, on site testing at pilot job fairs or at a client's facilities, and training for staff who give and score the tests. The site names a paper and pen tabular speed test and a computerized version.

Interview support covers refining interview questions, evaluation forms and scoring methods. The site says structured interviewing training can reduce legal exposure by showing knowledge of pilot selection methods. Database searches are also listed as a service.

The company offers short courses for human resource staff and flight operations personnel who hire pilots. The site says the courses run from time to time in Chicago and Montreal. Listed courses include a pilot selection course, a pilot interviewing workshop and a pilot interviewing essentials course.

The site says the company accepts federal contracts and lists NAICS codes 541612, 541720 and 611710. Visitors can book a no-cost consultation, but the site says the team replies within two business days. The phone number listed is +1 (847) 855-9582.
