Dalic

DALIC makes selective brush electroplating equipment and supplies. It is based in Vitre, in Brittany, France, and sells to more than 70 countries.

The company says it created the selective treatment of metal surfaces by electroplating. It was born in 1932 in Paris. A mechanical engineer and a chemical engineer joined forces to develop the patented process. In 1960 it began to export, first setting up agents in Italy, Norway, Sweden, the United States and the UK.

The head office moved to Vitre in 1985. Engineers there designed the process to treat only the working area of large series parts. This let the company automate electrochemical surface finishing, and it opened its own production lines. In 1995, after a request from an aerospace group, engineers created Dalistick. This is a no-drop process that limits fumes from chemical solutions. In 2018 DALIC joined the French family group PROTEX International, which works in chemistry and biochemistry.

The product range includes Dalistick, equipment and tools, high quality electrolytes, and consumables and accessories. The company also offers services. These are repair jobs, technical training, calibration and maintenance, and research and development.

DALIC serves several sectors. These are aerospace, energy and offshore, defence, marine, industrial cylinders, railway and specific applications. It works through partners and sales agents in Europe, Asia, CIS, Africa and the Middle East, North America, the Far East, Oceania and the UK.

The company showed at the Paris Le Bourget air show in June 2023 and at Aeromat in 2022. The company has pages on quality and safety, a plating FAQ and videos.
