About Circuits Integrated
Circuits Integrated is a Greek technology company in Athens, Greece, that designs chips and products for the Satcom, 5G and IoT industries. Its stated aim is to give people faster, ubiquitous and downtime-free communications around the globe. It says its revenues grew five times in two years and passed 2 million euros per year.
The company, known as CI, was founded on 15 October 2018 as a private company delivering RF and semiconductor design services. At first it worked as a small design firm on custom projects. In April 2022 it joined the ESA BIC Greece incubation programme as a startup. In April 2025 it became a public limited company, a change meant to allow investment and product sales. In May 2025 it announced Kythrion, a Ka-band Antenna-in-Package platform for satellite communications. Its team works from a 300 square metre office in Kifissia, Athens.
CI designs chips from concept to production. Its skills cover analog, digital, mixed signal, RF and millimetre wave circuits. It works in CMOS, BiCMOS and FDSOI silicon, down to 3 nm for CMOS layouts, 55 nm for BiCMOS and 22 nm for SOI. It also works with GaAs and GaN compound chips. CI plans packages that combine silicon and compound chips.
The main product line is MMICs for phased array antennas. A MMIC is a microwave integrated circuit. CI says its power amplifier module can replace two power amplifiers and a switch. It describes the result as three times smaller, with about 50 percent lower cost and over 20 percent better efficiency. The modules deliver 2.5 W and 4 W in the 27.5 to 30 GHz range. They serve satellite flat panel antennas for low and medium Earth orbit networks.
CI also sells design services. Its IP portfolio has more than 10 products, including phase shifters, VCOs and Ka-band and Ku-band chipsets for analog beamforming. The company has taken part in over 30 tape-outs and worked in more than 20 foundry processes. Services cover circuit design, RFIC design, turnkey solutions, layout, modelling, ESD protection, measurement, feasibility studies and hosting of CAD and EDA tools.
Its applications include space, satellite communications, defence, maritime and commercial aviation. CI joins EU funding programmes and partnerships to develop next generation GaAs and GaN products.
