About CenTex Aerospace

CenTex Aerospace, Incorporated is an aircraft modification and STC company at Waco Regional Airport in Waco, Texas, established in 1999. It develops and sells supplemental type certificate conversions, mainly for Beechcraft King Air, Baron and Bonanza aircraft, and supplies the kits, documentation and training through a dealer network. Its best known products are the HALO increased gross weight conversions for the King Air.

Products

  • HALO 250 increased gross weight conversion for the King Air 200 series through the B200GT: maximum ramp weight 13,510 lb and takeoff weight 13,420 lb, about 920 lb more payload, an increase in Mmo from 0.52 to 0.58 Mach on most models, and five added safety systems (engine fire extinguisher, overspeed warning, elevator out of trim warning, emergency cabin lighting, ice mode stall warning and illuminated escape path markings). The aircraft can stay in the normal category or move to the commuter category with a nine seat limit.
  • HALO 275 and HALO 350 conversions, the latter raising the King Air 350 and 360 maximum takeoff weight from 15,000 to 15,950 lb, announced in April 2023 after a flight test programme that began in December 2021
  • HALO 90 and engine and torque indicator upgrades for the King Air 90
  • Saddle tank conversions for King Air aircraft
  • Engine upgrades and gross weight increases for the Baron 58TC and 58P, and products for the Bonanza
