Bend Aircraft Mechanics LLC (Bend Aircraft) is a maintenance shop, avionics installer and flight school at 63348 Powell Butte Hwy in Bend, Oregon. It started as a maintenance shop in the spring of 2017 and opened its flight department a year later.

Flight training

The flight school rents Cessna 172s at $220/hr and a Beechcraft Duchess at $430/hr, with fuel included. Flight and ground instruction costs $65/hr. A Redbird SD simulator, an FAA-certified AATD set up like the fleet's 172s with a Garmin 530, rents for $90/hr. Most training aircraft have dual Garmin G5 instruments and GTX 345 ADS-B transponders. Licensed pilots can rent after a checkout with a CFI, and the company also runs photography flights. Office hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
