About ARGUS Interception
ARGUS Interception is a German technology company that builds counter-drone systems. It is based in Rotenburg (Wümme), Germany, and makes net-based systems that catch and recover drones that do not cooperate.
The company was founded in 2023 by former officers of the German armed forces. It develops and makes security technology in Germany for armed forces, authorities and operators of critical infrastructure. It says its work helps public bodies protect public security and stay in control of their own operations.
Its main product is the A1-Falke, a net-based interceptor drone. The aircraft combines net capture technology that is already in use and listed with an NSN, the company's own software and sensor integration. The aim is to bring a drone down without secondary damage from falling debris. In June 2026 the company announced that it would equip the A1-Falke with Ouster digital lidar.
Because the intercepted drone stays intact, experts can study it afterwards. They can look at where it came from, how it was used and who may be behind it. This forensic angle is a key part of the company's pitch.
The press page shows a steady run of customer news. The company delivered a net interception drone to the Bundeswehr in September 2025 and A1-Falke drones to the German Federal Police in February 2026. In October 2026 it reported that Hamburg police had ordered a counter-UAS system and that it had signed a framework agreement with the Bundeswehr for drone defence. It also became a member of the German aerospace industry association BDLI in October 2026.
It offers a media kit with images and logos, a newsletter, a careers page and a contact form for sales, press and general enquiries. The company says it usually replies within 48 hours.
