ANAVIA

ANAVIA is a Swiss company that designs and builds unmanned helicopters for security, inspection and other critical missions. It is based in Bilten, Switzerland, and was founded in 2019. The company has more than 150 employees.

Its helicopters fly on their own from takeoff to landing, so no pilot is on board. The company says this keeps crews out of danger and lowers operating cost compared with manned helicopters. It says a system can be ready to fly in 15 minutes. ANAVIA is part of EDGE Group and says its systems are free of US ITAR export limits.

The HT-100 is the tactical ISR helicopter. It has a maximum take-off weight of 120 kg, carries 60 kg and flies for six hours over a range of 600 km. Its top speed is 120 km/h and it is 2.82 m long. The HT-100 Naval version lands on moving ships by itself using radar. It is built for patrol of exclusive economic zones, anti-piracy work and ship-to-shore transport.

The HT-750 is the heavy lift model. It has a maximum take-off weight of 1,150 kg, a payload of 750 kg and a range of 2,500 km. It can fly for 15 hours at up to 222 km/h and is 10 m long.

ANAVIA offers its aircraft for several missions. These include security and ISR, naval operations, inspection of pipelines, power grids and offshore rigs, search and rescue, aerial sensing and logistics. Payload options include EO/IR cameras, wide-area search sensors, LiDAR, hyperspectral imaging, gas and radiation detection, and cargo boxes that carry up to 50 kg.

The helicopters use two counter-rotating rotors with no tail rotor, and a 15 kW shaft turbine. The airframe is made of carbon composite. The company also supplies mission control and datalinks, including mesh radios, tracking dishes, and LTE and satellite links.

Support covers remote help around the clock, spare parts and repairs, onsite field engineers and certified training. The company says its worldwide field service can reach customers within three days.
