Alidaunia S.r.l.

Alidaunia is an Italian helicopter company based in Foggia, in Puglia, with its head office on the S.S. 673 at km 19, near Gino Lisa airport. It operates scheduled and charter flights, air ambulance and civil protection services, and it also maintains helicopters, trains crews and designs and manages heliports.

Flight services

• Scheduled flights: since 1985, with ministerial consent and in cooperation with the Puglia Region transport department, Alidaunia has run a daily helicopter link between Foggia and the Tremiti Islands. The flight calls at Vieste on Mondays and Fridays, and also on weekends in summer. Heliports listed for bookings are Foggia, Tremiti, Vieste and Peschici.
• Charter: a VIP charter service for business needs.
• Air ambulance and HEMS: the company holds civil protection, 118 emergency medical and air ambulance services on behalf of public administrations in several Italian regions, using part of its fleet equipped and staffed for the role.

• Agusta service centre for AgustaWestland helicopters since 2002; the company says it was the first non-Leonardo service centre to receive the Excellent certificate
• Authorised service centre for Robinson helicopters since 2011
• Authorised service centre for Tronair since 2012 and Laversab dealer and service centre since 2014
• Pratt and Whitney Premium Service Provider for mobile repair and line maintenance since November 2017
• Approved by the Italian Ministry of Defence as a maintenance organisation under EMAR 145 since 27 January 2020

Training, design and heliports

Alidaunia Training is an approved training organisation and a centre for TEA exams. Courses include pilot licences and ratings, aircraft approach, airport and heliport firefighting, medical crew training, winch training and water survival. The company is recognised by EASA for design activities under alternative procedures to Design Organisation Approval and has developed supplemental type certificate changes, such as special mission equipment. It designs, builds and manages heliports, including work within the Puglia regional heliport network.
