About AirMedCare Network

AirMedCare Network is an air ambulance membership program in the United States. It is part of the Global Medical Response family. The company operates as an alliance of four air medical providers. These are Air Evac Lifeteam, Guardian Flight, Med-Trans Corporation, and REACH Air Medical Services. Together they form a network that serves households across the country. The alliance brings more than one hundred fifty years of combined experience.

The membership program protects families from high costs of air medical transport. Members pay a yearly fee for coverage of medically necessary emergency air transport. The plan covers the entire household with one membership. There are no exclusions for preexisting conditions. Members do not need insurance approval to sign up. There are no hidden costs or surprise bills.

The network offers emergency air ambulance membership for ninety nine dollars per year. This service provides rapid medical transport for critical care. Members pay zero dollars out of pocket when flown by a participating provider. The network operates from more than three hundred twenty air ambulance base locations. These bases serve thirty eight states across the country. Discount pricing is available for seniors age sixty and older.

For non emergency transport, the company offers Fly U Home membership. This service helps members return to their home hospital while traveling domestically or internationally. The yearly cost is one hundred fifty nine dollars. Members can also purchase a bundled membership that combines both services at a reduced price. This bundle offers financial protection for everyday life and travel.

In some areas, the network provides ground ambulance coverage. For example, FireMed membership offers emergency ground transport in Oregon. This service costs eighty five dollars per year and includes household coverage. The network has more than three million members nationwide. College students are included in household coverage plans.

Membership does not guarantee that a network provider will be dispatched. Local emergency services determine if air transport is needed and which aircraft is sent. If an AirMedCare Network provider is dispatched, the membership benefits apply. If another provider is sent, the benefits do not apply. The membership status does not influence decisions made by local emergency medical professionals.
