About Zil Air (Pty)

Zil Air is a helicopter and fixed wing air service in Seychelles. The company was founded in 2007. Its base is next to the runway of the International Airport.

The company operates five Airbus H-120 helicopters, a twin-engine Vulcan Air P68C, a Tecnam Traveller and a Pilatus PC-24. The site says it runs eight aircraft in total, under private management. It has flown more than 50,000 flights.

Services include scenic flights, private and VIP transfers, excursion packages, utility services and gift vouchers. Scenic flights run from 15 minutes to 90 minutes. Routes cover Mahe, Praslin and La Digue islands.

Transfers link the airport with resorts and move guests between islands. Departure points include the Zil Air base, Anantara Maia on Mahe, Bird Island and Cerf Island.

Guests can wait in the Zil Air Lounge. The lounge has Wi-Fi, cold towels, refreshments and international news channels. Staff escort guests to their aircraft before departure.

The site says the company can use more than 21 licensed helipads and seven landing strips across the Seychelles islands. It lists safety standards and baggage rules on its pages.

The company got its first helicopter in 2007 and its first fixed wing aircraft the same year. It received its Air Operator Certificate in April 2009. Its first Airbus EC-145 arrived in December 2014. Its Pilatus PC-24 joined the fleet in December 2021.
