Zekri Tours

Zekri Tours is a travel company from Egypt. The site says it was set up in 1987 with licence 725, category A, to meet growing demand for travel to Egypt and the Middle East. It describes itself as a tour operator. Aviation is only a small part of its work, as one of its business fields is acting as a general sales agent for airlines.

The business is split into four fields. The first is inbound travel for groups and individuals. This covers Nile cruises, hotel bookings, guided sightseeing, desert safaris and oases, beach resorts, diving in the Red Sea and fishing in Lake Nasser. It also covers incentive trips and conferences, pilgrimage tours and shore excursions for cruise ships. Tours to Jordan, Lebanon and nearby countries are also listed.

The second field is the airline general sales agent work. The third is outbound travel, with hotel bookings abroad and package tours to Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Russia, China, the Far East and India. The fourth is Umrah and Hajj packages.

The site says most of its business comes from Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, South America, India, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey and Greece.

The home page shows sightseeing tours such as the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, Islamic Cairo, Aswan temples and Luxor. New products include bird watching, a Holy Family tour, Wadi Al Natroun and fishing on Lake Nasser. A bird watching page gives a ten day plan from Cairo through Fayoum and Wadi Rayyan. A message from the chairman invites travel partners to work with the company. Visitors can send a request with a name, phone number and destination, and they can subscribe to a newsletter.
