Xiphos

Xiphos Systems Corporation is a Canadian company based in Montreal, Quebec, that makes space-grade embedded processing systems. Its website says it was founded in 1996 and became part of the Epiq Solutions family in 2023, and its home page says it is proud to be part of TTM Technologies. The company describes itself as a new space company for more than 20 years with thousands of cards delivered, and its products are based on commercial off-the-shelf components designed for space use.

Products

• Q-Card processor families, from Q7 ultra-low size, weight and power to Q8 and Q8J low power and Q9 high performance, using hybrid CPU and FPGA architectures
• The Q9 Versal computer-on-module, and a Q8 RF family member
• Data storage and interface computers for payload data
• Q7S and Q8S flight control computers and communication subsystems for small satellite launchers, with numerous successful launches to date

The company is AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, and promotes space-qualified AI, FPGA and edge processing, with a campaign asking what a mission could do with 101 TOPS in orbit.
