Volcano Heli

Volcano Heli is a small helicopter company based at Reykjavík Domestic Airport in Iceland. It offers sightseeing tours, heli expeditions, aerial photo flights, private charters, helicopter transfers and flight training. The company flies over glaciers, volcanoes and the untouched interior of the island.

The company was officially founded in 2014 with a single Robinson R44. It now operates two Robinson R66 turbine helicopters. The website calls them the newest and most modern turbine fleet of their kind in Iceland. Each R66 seats a pilot and four passengers, with one passenger in the front and three in the back.

Sightseeing tours range from a 30 to 40 minute Reykjanes Volcano Tour to a full day Pilot's Choice Expedition of 7 to 8 hours. Other tours include the Glacier Expedition of about 90 minutes, the Volcano and Glacier flight of about two hours and the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach tour of 5 to 5.5 hours.

Prices are shown in Icelandic krona. Sightseeing flights are priced per person for groups of at least two, and private flights are priced for one to four passengers. The company offers free rescheduling or a full refund for weather cancellations.
