Touch and Go Solutions

Touch and Go Solutions, LLC is a United States consultancy that supports airline and aviation training departments. Its website says training teams often face high stakeholder expectations with limited staff, and that its team can take on routine tasks, tackle long-neglected program maintenance or act as a short-term resource for unexpected projects. The consultants on its about page have backgrounds in airline pilot training, curriculum design, flight operations data and human factors, with experience that includes Part 121 carriers, general aviation and business aviation.

What it helps with

• Change projects such as airline mergers, entry-into-service programs, transitions to competency-based training and assessment (CBTA), and new regulatory requirements
• Moving from spreadsheets and basic metrics to a data-driven training organization, with tailored data governance and data literacy
• Roadmaps and training strategies that capture continuous improvement ideas
• Prioritizing innovation projects for modernizing training so they deliver the expected return on investment
• Upgrading the knowledge and skills of training departments for systems such as EBT, CBTA, AQP and ATQP, with professional development plans
• Linking safety management, training, quality assurance and data systems so they are not separate silos

Method

The company says it uses agile and responsive methods and applies four performance pillars. People means understanding the different stakeholder groups and their competing priorities. Technology means using the right tools for an efficient and safe aviation organization. Processes ranges from human performance to data management. Data means turning an organization's data into business insight that improves performance and safety. Its stated aim is to prepare crew members to perform best when it matters most.
