Täby Air Maintenance AB (TAM)

Täby Air Maintenance AB, known as TAM, is an aircraft maintenance organisation based at Örebro Airport in Sweden. It was founded in 1989 as a general aviation workshop, operating briefly under the name Närkes Aeroservice. Today it has a staff of more than 50 technicians and engineers and concentrates on regional airliners, especially the Saab 340, Saab 2000 and ATR families. Work on the ATR family began in April 2020.

Interior and seat refurbishment

TAM carries out interior and seat refurbishments to refresh the look of an aircraft and improve its appeal to passengers. The scope covers the passenger cabin, lavatories, galleys, cockpit and seats. Work can cover part of a cabin or a complete refurbishment.

• Line and base maintenance, including line stations set up at an operator's location
• Structural repairs on aircraft from the Saab and ATR types up to larger airliners such as the Airbus A320 family, Boeing 737 and 767 and MD80 families
• Composite repair in a dedicated composite shop

• Modifications based on service bulletins or STC

• Spare parts storage, component exchange and power-by-the-hour programs
• Saab 340 and Saab 2000 cargo conversions, including an FAA approved cargo STC for the Saab 2000
• Engine isolator overhaul

Approvals and aircraft

TAM is an approved FAR and EASA repair station. It also holds a design certificate and a production certificate, so it can convert an aircraft to a customer's specification. When capacity allows it also works on general aviation aircraft such as Cessna and Piper singles and twins, the Socata TB series and the Vulcanair P68.
