About SCI Cabin Interiors

SCI Cabin Interiors, short for Sollentuna Cabin Interiors, is a Swedish family business that works from airside facilities at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The company began in 1962 as Sollentuna Bilsadelmakeri AB, refurbishing car and boat interiors. In 1966 Scandinavian Airlines asked for help with refurbishment on board its aircraft, which started a cooperation that continues today. In 1996 the company moved its focus to aviation and set up a workshop and office at Arlanda. The third generation of the family took over in 2014.

Approvals

  • EASA Part 145 component workshop approval in class C6 (EASA 145.0091), held since 2002, making it one of the first Scandinavian maintenance organisations specialised in cabin interiors
  • EASA Part 21 Subpart G approval (EASA 21.0021), held since 2019, for manufacturing cabin related items

The company is audited by the Swedish civil aviation authority and its staff receive recurrent training in human factors, fuel tank safety and EWIS.
