Space Prize

The Space Prize Foundation is an education group based in New York, NY, USA. It runs global space challenges and an open-source space curriculum for young people. The office is at 400 West 61st Street.

The foundation says its mission is to help a new generation of explorers join the growing space economy. Its challenges use competitions, expert mentorship and hands-on learning to build STEAM skills.

The site describes a Space Prize challenge in Saudi Arabia. The foundation says it will provide 80 to 100 high school students a chance to attend a three day space camp in Riyadh in July 2026. The camp is run with STEMAIVERSE Camps.

Students who finish the challenge receive a Mission RedCode completion certificate. The site says the certificate is endorsed by STEMAIVERSE.

The site lists an open-source curriculum on astrophysics, engineering, the space economy, space sustainability, space governance and future implications. It also lists a knowledge base with history and skill sets.

The foundation hosts a weekly speakers series for students and teachers. Guest speakers come from the space industry. The site also lists a new world challenge called Rocket Revolution.

The foundation says it is not directly affiliated with NASA, SpaceX, Blue Origin, JAXA or the women it celebrates on its site. The contact page lists a New York address and a contact form.
