Cirrus services

The company's maintenance page lists a Cirrus maintenance center with factory supported maintenance and warranty support, CAPS inspections and repacks, troubleshooting and long-term ownership support. O'Neal Pierce is Piston Service Team Manager. Cirrus Aircraft's locator lists the following:

  • Maintenance for Cirrus SR20, SR22 and SR22T aircraft
  • Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) overhaul

Other maintenance

The repair station also runs Cessna Citation and Beechcraft King Air maintenance centers. General services are scheduled inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance planning, pre-purchase inspections, structural repairs (corrosion and sheet metal repair, damage assessment) and avionics troubleshooting, repair coordination and upgrades. An interiors shop handles refurbishment; its manager Jeremiah Watts came from Watts Interiors, which has worked at KBHM since 1976. The website does not mention composite repair, which appears only in the Cirrus locator.

Charter, FBO and sales

The company flies private charter under its own Part 135 certificate and manages aircraft for owners. It operates two FBOs outside Alabama: Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (KECP) in Panama City, opened under General Manager Scott Capehart, and Trent Lott International Airport (KPQL) in Pascagoula, Mississippi, where the company says it is the only FBO. Aircraft sales and advisory services are offered through the Birmingham office. Several leaders have long histories at the airport: Darryl Brewer, President of the FBO division, has worked at KBHM since 1978.
