Heli Company

HELI COMPANY, which took over the Slovak Training Academy website, is a Slovak helicopter organisation based at Košice International Airport. Active since 2004, it works in aerial firefighting and aerial work, helicopter pilot and mechanic training, and helicopter maintenance. It describes itself as the first and only civil operator of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters in Europe.

Services

• Pilot training as an approved training organisation (ATO) and flight training organisation (FTO), with programmes tailored to the customer
• Aircraft mechanic training under Part-147 and EMAR 147, including type training and examinations
• Aerial firefighting with UH-60 A/L Black Hawk helicopters carrying up to 4,100 litres of water
• Aerial work including load carrying, demonstrations and film missions
• Maintenance of UH-60 A/L Black Hawk, HU-269 and HU-369 helicopters as a Part-145 organisation, with 24/7 deployment

Training is currently offered only to commercial customers; the company does not take individual students at present.
