About SLiNK-TECH

SLiNK-TECH Ltd is a technology company in Bristol, United Kingdom. It develops automated vertiport systems, which are places where drones and passenger eVTOL aircraft can take off and land. The company was founded in 2018.

Its main product is called PORTAL. The company describes it as ground and air control equipment that scans the air and the ground and then commands vehicles to land. It can be set up at almost any location. The site says it needs no local drone pilots and works for small landing pads as well as large vertiports.

The site lists three uses. Fixed vertiport infrastructure adds the sensors and software to permanent sites. Temporary vertiport infrastructure can be ready in hours, for disaster relief and emergency logistics. Dynamic drone networks join the vertiport system with network modelling so sites can change with seasonal demand.

The leadership team includes chief executive and founder John Goudie, who worked on the Facebook Aquila drone, and co-founder Andrew Cox, who has over 30 years in aerospace. The company has won two Future Flight Challenge grants, in December 2020 and July 2022. In November 2022 it joined the Future of Air Mobility Accelerator run by the Connected Places Catapult.

The company is still testing PORTAL. It has no job vacancies listed at present. The contact page has a form and a link to book an online meeting.
