SKYLOTEC
Fall protection and tactical access equipment, made in Europe for 75+ years
About SKYLOTEC
SKYLOTEC designs and manufactures personal fall protection equipment, rescue systems and rope access technology, and runs training for working at height. The company has more than 75 years of history and states that its products are European-made with 100 percent in-house expertise and a high depth of production. Its website is organised around three product lines: Professional, for industrial work at height; Outdoor, for climbing and mountain sports; and Tactical, for special forces and law enforcement.
Tactical access
The Special Operations division was set up with experienced operators and former end users to supply equipment for vertical access in urban, maritime and mountain environments. The range includes PPE, hardware, powered ascenders such as the ActSafe TCX, descenders, carabiners, harnesses, telescopic poles, titanium hooks and launchers, in low-visibility colours for urban work. Maritime systems cover counterterrorism and VBSS (visit, board, search and seizure) operations from dive teams and rigid inflatable boats, and the mountain line is a lightweight range for tactical climbing. SKYLOTEC expanded this portfolio by acquiring Sweden Entry Tools AB, known as SET Breaching, and publishes a Tactical Access workbook and catalogue.
Training and service
SKYLOTEC provides inspection and service training on maintenance procedures and functional testing for military and law enforcement users, and practical training programmes led by former operators that cover boarding operations, breaching and other scenarios across all three environments. A network of business development managers and technical specialists supports customers across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Events
The company exhibits at trade fairs including Enforce Tac, where it presents tactical access solutions for urban, maritime and mountainous areas, and the ActSafe TCX power ascender has featured in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
