SkyCare Repatriation

SkyCare Repatriation is a UK medical repatriation provider based at London Biggin Hill Airport. It transfers patients internationally by air ambulance, by commercial airline with a medical escort and by European road ambulance. SkyCare doctors, nurses and paramedics care for the patient from bed to bed, while a 24/7 operations team handles flights, ground transport, airport requirements and hospital handover.

Services

• Dedicated air ambulance repatriation, private or insurance funded
• Commercial medical escort flights and commercial stretcher flights
• Airside and tarmac ambulance transfers at UK airports and international hubs
• Road repatriation ambulance across Europe
• Private ambulance service
• Neonatal and paediatric transfer support

Aircraft

For air ambulance missions SkyCare selects a suitable aircraft through its specialist aviation network. Its site highlights the Pilatus PC-12 for short and medium range European missions, as its wide cargo door and pressurised cabin suit ventilated, ICU and bariatric patients and it can use regional airports close to hospitals. Other medical aircraft can be arranged where the PC-12 is not the right fit.

Markets served

SkyCare works for private patients and families, hospitals and the NHS, embassies, insurers and assistance companies.
