Selex ES (now Leonardo)

Selex ES was the electronics, avionics and air traffic management company of the Finmeccanica group, with a UK base in London and sites in Italy and the UK. The Selex ES name is no longer used. The business is now part of Leonardo, and its old website, leonardocompany.com, forwards to leonardo.com.

Leonardo today

Leonardo describes itself as a global leader in aerospace, defence and security. Its divisions cover helicopters, aircraft, electronics, cyber and security, space and automation. Its website reports around 1,200 civil and military aircraft managed at about 50 sites, over 4,500 helicopters in service in more than 130 countries, and about 1,000 air defence and surveillance radars in 58 countries.

Air traffic management

The air traffic management and avionics work that Selex ES was known for now sits inside Leonardo's Electronics division.
