Segelfliegergruppe Markdorf e.V.

Segelfliegergruppe Markdorf e.V. is a gliding club at the Markdorf airfield near Lake Constance, Germany. The "e.V." shows it is a registered association. The site marks 75 years of the club in 2026. The club built its own SG38 glider in 1951. The club is known on the site as Segelfliegergruppe Markdorf/Bodensee.

The site lists flight operations on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from about 9:00 to about 17:00. Visitors can take a guest flight as a passenger with an experienced pilot. Guest flights are also sold as gift vouchers. The club has two-seat aircraft for guest flights.

The club offers training for new glider pilots. The site describes the training process and lists its flight instructors. It also lists the cost of getting a glider license. A trial day called Schnuppertag lets people see what happens at the airfield. The club also runs a VHS course and a page on what gliding is.

The site describes club life. The club holds a yearly hut weekend, and in 2026 it met at a holiday house in Unterjoch. The club's hangar got a new insulated roof after leaks. The club also collects paper for recycling.

The site reports on events. In June 2026 the club took part in the Bodensee friendship flying competition in Hilzingen, which is a cross-country contest for gliding pilots in the Lake Constance region. During AERO 2026 the field served as an alternate airfield for ultralight aircraft.

The site describes the 75th anniversary. The club held a celebration and an open day. For the day, the club planned to borrow a flying replica of the SG38 open school glider. The site says the glider would be pulled by winch to 300 metres.

The site lists an Impressum, a privacy page, a members area and a contact page. The site runs on Joomla and shows the date and page navigation.
