SeeTrue
AI threat detection software for airport CT and X-ray scanners
About SeeTrue
SeeTrue makes artificial intelligence software that finds prohibited items in security screening. It has offices in Tel Aviv, Israel, Long Island City in New York, and London. The software connects to existing X-ray and CT scanners and spots items such as guns, knives, liquids, electronics and explosives in bags and parcels.
The company was founded in 2018 and has been used in live operations since 2019. It says it processed more than 50 million scans in 2025 and that its software scans more than 6 million bags a month in hundreds of lanes worldwide. SeeTrue also says it has stopped more than a million prohibited items from boarding planes, entering mass transit or arriving in countries through parcels.
SeeTrue's Automated Prohibited Items Detection Software, called APIDS, is ECAC approved for use with the Analogic ConneCT and Rapiscan 920CT EDSCB machines. It is also the first AI solution to receive TSA certification for prohibited item detection with the Analogic ConneCT CT scanner. The company also offers versions for the Smiths Detection HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX, the Leidos ClearScan and the SureScan Detect 1000.
In aviation, SeeTrue serves airport checkpoints, hold baggage screening, air cargo and worker screening. It also offers Image on Alarm Only, or IOAO, technology for CT screening, which it showed at Nashville International Airport. It has deployed checkpoint technology at Punta Cana Airport. A partnership with K2 Security Screening Group aims to improve aviation worker screening.
Outside aviation, the company serves urban security, including public transport networks, government buildings, prisons, public venues, data centers, and sports and entertainment venues. It also works in customs and parcels, and in ports and borders. The company says its software was installed for 2026 FIFA World Cup security operations. It has also announced a screening project for Barclays Center.
SeeTrue runs on commercial off-the-shelf hardware. Its platform brings detection, analytics and open architecture together in one system. The company says it designed the software with red team and screening expertise, tunes it for high detection and low reject rates, and can add new threats quickly. It reports that automation cuts manual procedures and raises throughput.
