Scissortail Aerosport, LLC

Scissortail Aerosport LLC is the authorized North American dealer and completion center for the GoGetAir G750 aircraft. It is based at Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the airport with the code KRVS. The owners are Shannon Hankins and Alan Jackson, who started the company out of their passion for flying.

The G750 is a Slovenian built light sport aircraft that is ready for the new Mosaic rules. It has a full carbon composite body. The site lists a whole airframe parachute, a roll safety cage, a Kevlar cabin interior, a large flap for short and slow approaches and a Rotax engine. With the Rotax 915iS the site gives 141 horsepower, a cruise speed of 138 knots, a stall speed of 38 knots, a fuel burn of 5 gallons an hour, a useful load of up to 770 pounds and a top operating altitude of 14,760 feet. Each aircraft is customized to the owner.

The company runs its completion center in house. It supports owners during the final assembly of the aircraft at its site in Tulsa. After a sale, owners have access to an affiliated facility at KRVS for maintenance and repair. Training comes with every aircraft, and financing is available through a partnership with First Oklahoma Bank.

Hankins has flown the C-130 and other military aircraft, and has been an airline and test pilot. He holds A and P and IA certificates and owns a full service maintenance facility at KRVS. Jackson is an engineer and entrepreneur with a private pilot certificate and an instrument rating.
