Scandic Aero

Scandic Aero is an air ambulance and medical transport arranger. It is based in Paphos, Cyprus. The company covers Scandinavia and the Baltics.

The company offers air ambulance, ground ambulance, medical escort and alarm centre services. Its 24/7 alarm centre supports insurance and assistance companies with worldwide medical flights, repatriations and medical escorts. It also supports other air ambulance companies with ground ambulances, handling arrangements and medical staff for flights.

The site says the company also offers aviation services for general and commercial flights. These include overflight and landing permits, handling arrangements, hotels and taxis. Its clients include air ambulance companies, assistance companies and private families who need medical transport.

The company was established in 2023. It started with aviation services and later built a network of partners across Northern Europe. The network covers Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. In early 2024 it added Poland and the Baltic states.

In late 2024 the company added long-distance medical repatriation by ground ambulance. The site presents this as a lower cost option to air ambulance flights. The company is part of the Scandic Services Group and is registered as Scandic Services Cyprus Ltd.
