Safran Seats

Safran Seats is the aircraft seating business of the Safran group. Its head office is in Plaisir, France, and the company says it is a global key player in passenger and technical aircraft seats. More than one million Safran seats are in use on airline fleets worldwide.

Markets served

Safran designs, assembles and certifies seats for business and commercial aeroplanes, military aircraft and helicopters. In 2023 the group announced that it would equip the premium cabins of Japan Airlines on the Airbus A350.
