Roeder Praezision GmbH

Röder Präzision GmbH is an aviation design, production and maintenance company based at Egelsbach airfield (EDFE) near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It was founded in 1922 and calls itself one of the oldest aviation companies in Germany. Since 2017 it has been part of the Röder Group, owned by Stratory Holding GmbH in Munich, and Egelsbach is the group's headquarters.

Services

For general aviation, Röder offers complete maintenance of piston and multi-engine aircraft up to 5.7 tonnes, on both EASA and N-registered aircraft. All work is done at Egelsbach. It is a certified service center for Cirrus, Piper and Hartzell.

• Overhaul of Lycoming and Continental engines, including shock loading inspections, and of all engine accessories

• Conversion to jet fuel (diesel) engines; the company produces the SR305 and SR460 diesel engines, a programme taken over from Safran in 2021

About the company

Röder holds EASA Part 21J design and Part 21G production approvals and EASA and FAA Part 145 maintenance approvals. It develops STCs, minor changes and approved repairs, LED lighting systems and replacement parts. The group also does component MRO (wheels and brakes, avionics, hydraulics), NDT, electroplating, paint and tool calibration, and serves commercial and military customers. Other sites include Troisdorf, Leipzig and Stuhr in Germany, Košice in Slovakia and Dubai.
