Quinn Aerospace

Quinn Aerospace Inc. is a company in Santa Clarita, California. It develops a propulsion technology called Pressure Foil Propulsion. The company offers licenses to established manufacturers in marine, defense and aerospace markets. The licensee would handle manufacturing and sales, and Quinn Aerospace would provide the technology.

The site describes how the technology works. A rotating disc with closely spaced fins creates thrust by pushing fluid faster than it can refill at the inlet. The site says the design needs no propeller blade, jet nozzle or rocket. It says the design stays effective at high speed, where propellers lose efficiency.

The company reports test results for its PF900 prototype. It says the prototype used 7.4 times less energy per unit of thrust than a GE CF34 jet engine, and 279 times less than an RS-25 rocket engine. These figures come from June 2026 test data. They are the company's own results. The site says full telemetry is available under a non-disclosure agreement.

The site says the company built an electric land speed vehicle powered by a single PF900 unit. It reports a 1,346 metre test run in December 2025 that reached 20 mph. The vehicle was given a California Highway Patrol VIN in August 2026. A desert test at El Mirage Dry Lake Bed was scheduled for October 2026.

The site lists US patent 11,518,443 as active until 2041. A Canadian patent, CA 3159999, was reinstated in August 2026. The original device patent, US 5,328,333, was granted in 1994 and has expired. The site says research began in 1987. Target markets named on the site include marine propulsion and defense unmanned surface and underwater vehicles. The site offers a pitch document on request.
