QED/inc., also called QED Aero, makes pressure gauges, accelerometers and precision machined parts for aircraft. The site says it has served military and commercial aircraft makers, major subcontractors and operators for more than 58 years.

The company says its products support every Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and Embraer platform. It also lists US military fighter and trainer aircraft, American and NATO aircraft carriers, ground support vehicles, fire suppression systems, NASA's Space Station and surface-to-air missiles.

The three product areas are accelerometers, precision machining and pressure gauges. The home page also points to accelerometer overhaul. The company says it builds application-specific products for aircraft platforms worldwide.

The pressure gauge page gives test details. Every gauge is helium leak tested and calibrated against master gauges with NIST traceable standards. The page says the gauges meet MIL-G-25867 and test limits from RTCA DO-160 and Mil-Std-810. Special designs are tested to 90 gRMS. The gauges can handle shocks up to 100 Gs and temperatures from minus 65 to plus 257 degrees Fahrenheit. The coil is made from Inconel X-750 on machines the company designed itself, and a beryllium copper coil is also available.

The page also says the company has in-house CNC machining and programming, with an ISO 9001 quality system. Case materials are matched to the use, such as aluminum for light weight or 300 series stainless steel for strength. The website has a contact form for a name, email and message.
