About Professional Pilots of Tomorrow

Professional Pilots of Tomorrow, also called PPOT, is a mentorship group for people who want to become professional pilots. It matches members with experienced pilots who give advice on career choices. The site does not state where the group is based.

The group says its mentorship is confidential, unbiased and given at no cost. Each member is paired with a trained mentor, and the program is described as proprietary. Mentors are experienced professional pilots from across the industry. The site gives different figures in different places. The home page lists over 3,000 active members and over 750 pilot mentors.

Members also get career resources. These include information on airlines, low-time flying opportunities and specialized guides, all written by pilots for pilots. The group says its network includes pilots from nearly every Part 121 airline and many charter and corporate operators. Other help includes finding a first professional flying job and learning about regional airlines.

The group is funded only by donations from members and supporters. Membership as a mentee, mentor or supporter costs nothing. The mentee application portal is closed for now because of demand, and the site expects it to reopen in the fall of 2026.

The site shares member stories from students and career changers. It also lists press features, including AeroCrew News, a story on choosing a headset with Kore Aviation, and podcast features. The website has an apply page, a donation page and a contact form.
