About PRODRONE

PRODRONE builds industrial drones and unmanned systems from its base in Nagoya, Japan. Its motto is prevent, rescue and protect.

The company says its aim is to become the most trusted drone company in the community. It builds dual-use technology for both civilian and defence customers. Its core value is to protect lives and contribute to everyday life. It works with partners around the world to move people out of harm's way and to build new aerial infrastructure.

Its range includes the PD4B-M, an all-weather, agile quadrotor for surveillance and survey work in rain and strong wind. The GT-M is a ground unmanned platform that handles reconnaissance and transport on its own across rough terrain. The PDH-GS120 is a long-endurance system for steady aerial surveillance and communications relay around the clock. Other products include the PD Rescue, the PD6B-Type 3 and the PD-GCS, a Japanese-made ground control station.

PRODRONE offers drone systems and know-how for five uses: logistics, inspection, surveying, emergency response and defence. For logistics, drones carry goods to remote islands, mountain areas and disaster zones. For inspection, they check bridges, power lines, dams and wind power sites. For surveying, they build quick digital twins of building sites, farmland and disaster areas using LiDAR and photogrammetry.

The company shows its work at trade events. It exhibited at SWITCH 2026 in Singapore, and at JMS 2026 it presented the P6B-CAT3, which is aiming for Type 1 certification. It also offers product demos, advice on deployment and partnership talks, and a downloadable catalogue.

PRODRONE is hiring engineers, designers and business developers in Aichi. Its website is in English and Japanese.
