Platinum Simulators Inc

Platinum Simulators Inc is a flight simulator maker in Carlsbad, California. The company designs and makes FAA approved Advanced Aviation Training Devices and flight simulators. Its products cover helicopter and airplane training. The site describes a safety first philosophy.

The company's main products are the Professional Helicopter Simulator and the Professional Airplane Simulator. The site also lists custom simulators. The company makes generic and aircraft specific simulators, mobile trailer based simulators, classroom training devices, and single seat simulators.

The site says all systems are engineered, assembled, and tested in Carlsbad using documented manufacturing practices. Each device is delivered in a defined baseline configuration. This supports configuration management, repeatability, and regulatory traceability over the life of the system.

The company says its owners and engineering leaders have over 30 years of experience designing FAA evaluated flight simulation and training equipment. It says it developed a patented motion system for helicopter and fixed wing training devices, designed to match FAA evaluation criteria.

The site stresses configuration control. Changes to hardware and software that affect flight characteristics, control loading, motion cueing, and aircraft performance are checked for regulatory impact. Where needed, the company coordinates with the FAA to protect an existing Letter of Authorization.

The company offers technical support, replacement parts, and approved upgrade paths. The site lists training uses such as instrument, emergency procedure, and crew resource management training. The address is 1945 Camino Vida Roble, Suite L, Carlsbad, California 92008. The phone is +1-760-683-8922. The site has separate sales and support contacts.
