Pilot Partner

Pilot Partner is an electronic pilot logbook and flying club management application from Pilot Network, LLC in the United States. The original Pilot Partner 1.0 was written and released in 1997 by software developer Ken VeArd, who is the company's founder and CEO and a private pilot with single engine, multi engine and instrument ratings; the site says the first version had over 2,000 customers. The current product is cloud based and runs on the web, iPhone, iPad and Android.

Pilot logbook

The logbook tracks and backs up flight data, keeps currency and lets pilots view their flying in charts and reports that a paper log cannot provide. A CFI dashboard links student logbooks to an instructor's account so instructors spend less time on administration.

Flying club and fleet management

The fleet management system is aimed at flying clubs, partnerships and flight schools. Members log Hobbs and tach time in the app after each flight; the system tracks flight time, monthly dues and fuel reimbursements, generates invoices at the click of a button, takes credit card and bank payments in the app, integrates scheduling with Google Calendar and syncs with QuickBooks. The site says invoicing 30 to 40 pilots can be done in minutes rather than hours.

Aircraft maintenance tracker

Included with all accounts, the maintenance tracker uses a setup wizard to load common inspections and TBO items, tracks inspections by total time or calendar, loads AD inspections, follows TBO on engines, cylinders, magnetos and propeller, and colour codes status in green, yellow and red.

Pricing

Published prices on the site (October 2026) include logbook plans at US$29.95 per year and fleet plans from US$9.95 per month or US$99.50 per year per aircraft up to US$12.95 per month or US$129.50 per year per aircraft, with a 60-day trial. The site also has flying club welcome kits and user guides.
