Pictureworks

Pictureworks is a Singapore company, established in 2003, that runs guest photo and imaging services for theme parks and attractions.

Its platform is called PictureAir. It covers the full photo journey in one cloud based system. Photos are captured and linked to a guest. AI then processes them. Guests preview and buy the photos, then download and share them. The company says it has captured more than 500 million photos and that the patented platform has run at the scale of Disney, Universal and Ocean Park.

Capture technology includes high-speed ride cameras, green screen, underwater, self-service and Bullet-Time 360 degree photography. AI imaging adds face swap, chromakey, sky enhancement and background cleanup, so one shot can become shareable content without a green screen.

Personalized products turn photos into keepsakes. On-site printing and themed merchandise include storybooks, albums, frames, photo globes and keychains. Formats can be adapted to each destination and its shop space.

The company runs the technology, staff and retail from start to finish, so the attraction does not have to manage the photo operation. It says it has teams in 8 countries and regions. Clients named include Universal Beijing, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, Ocean Park Hong Kong, Legoland Japan, KidZania, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer and Jewel Changi Airport.

Case studies include a personalized fairy-tale storybook at Shanghai Disneyland, which won Silver at the MOBEX 2025 Awards. At Ngong Ping 360 the company built touch-free, gesture-triggered video scenes. At Jewel Changi Airport it launched AI chromakey. The company took part in IAAPA Expo Asia 2026.
