NET Cold Formed Components

NET Cold Formed Components, also called NET CFC, is a fastener maker in Istanbul, Turkey. It makes special bolts and other cold formed parts. The company was established in 1949. It began screw production in 1953 and bolt production in 1962. The site says it now serves the automotive industry.

Cold forming shapes metal parts without heating them first. NET CFC uses modern heading machines with up to six forming stages. It says this helps cut raw material waste. It has used an ERP system for production planning since 1992.

The product list includes bolts with assembled washers, flange bolts, cold formed male parts and female parts. It also lists fasteners above 20 millimeters across, ball studs, rivets and studs. Parts can be made from a customer's drawings, with second operations added. Second operations are extra steps after forming, such as heat treatment and coating.

NET CFC is a joint venture. The partners are Plogsties GmbH of Reinbek, Germany, Telmetal, a Turkish maker of steel for cold forging, and Willi Hahn GmbH, a German maker of cold extruded, turned and milled parts. The company has signed license agreements with REMINC and Conti for the TRILOBULAR and REMFORM product families. It was renominated as an A-grade supplier for Fiat Turkey.
