National Aircraft Finance Association

The National Aircraft Finance Association, known as NAFA, is a member organization of companies that work together to finance general and business aviation. The association says it has been promoting aircraft finance for over 50 years. It has more than 190 member companies.

Members include large and niche lenders, title and escrow firms, brokers and dealers, aviation tax specialists, aviation attorneys and certified appraisers. The association says its lenders focus exclusively on aircraft finance and leasing. Its member listings include companies in the United States and Canada.

Buyers and sellers can search the online member database. The database has two main listing types, lenders and product and service providers. Product and service providers help with legal or tax advice, title work, insurance assistance and more. The association says its members help each other by connecting people with the right experts.

NAFA runs educational, networking and member-only events. Its website lists the NAFA 55th Annual Conference. The association also publishes articles, press releases, webinars and transactional integrity resources. Recent articles include pieces on aircraft valuation and on financing in a high-rate environment.

NAFA says its members stay up to date on current industry trends. Through collaboration, expertise and educational content, the association gives the business and general aviation aircraft finance community chances to grow.
