About MHM Publishing

MHM Publishing is an aviation media company. It covers fixed-wing, rotary-wing and eVTOL aircraft. An eVTOL is an electric aircraft that takes off and lands straight up. The company says it has been in business for 24 years. It was started by Mike and Linda Reyno and is family-owned.

Its brands include Vertical Plus, Vertical Valor Plus, Vertical MRO, Vertical Marketplace, Vertical HeliCASTS, Skies Plus and Insight. These cover magazines, websites, newsletters, podcasts and social channels. The company says it uses professional journalists for its content.

Vertical is the company magazine for the civil helicopter industry. It comes out ten times a year. Features include operator profiles, industry reports, flight test profiles, maintenance articles, product news and avionics news. The site says it uses strong photography and design.

Vertical Valor is aimed at public safety, air medical and military helicopter operators. It has a strong North American focus. It carries columns from experts on the work of first responders. It is sent to selected professionals and subscribers, and it is also handed out at major trade shows.

Vertical Marketplace helps buyers and sellers in the helicopter industry. It began as a section at the back of Vertical magazine and later became its own magazine and online portal. In late 2021 the company launched HeliTrader, which it calls an international marketplace for buying, selling and leasing rotorcraft.

Skies Plus covers Canadian aviation. Insight is a magazine built for aviation trade shows. Each issue is made for a specific show. Vertical Helicasts are podcasts for different groups in the rotorcraft industry, and the site offers advertising on them.

The website lists advertising options across print, online, daily news and podcasts. It says the company has launched new events and conferences. It also states a goal to inform, connect and inspire the global aviation community.
