The defence portfolio supports military fixed wing and rotary aircraft. The company has equipment on an installed base of around 22,000 aircraft. Its products are used on programmes including the F-35, EF2000, Rafale and A400M. The range covers radomes, electronically scanned arrays, ammunition handling, thermal systems and weapon scoring systems.

Parker Meggitt also serves the energy and industrial equipment sector. It supplies unique technology to enable clean and efficient production and use of natural gas. It also supports nuclear, hydroelectric and novel clean energy power generation. This includes turbine monitoring, heat exchangers, printed circuit heat exchangers and sealing solutions.

The company provides full service aftermarket support throughout the lifecycle of its products. These services include spares distribution and maintenance, repair and overhaul. Support is available for commercial, business jet and defence customers around the world. The business invests at least two thirds of its innovation budget on technologies for sustainable aviation.

The company makes products across many categories. These include actuators, electric motors, oxygen systems, specialty restraints, ducting, flow control valves and bleed air leak detection. It also produces accelerometers, fluid sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors and speed sensors.
