Magnetic Group

Magnetic Group is an aviation group and the master brand under which a number of specialist companies operate. The group site states that it is a holding company and does not itself provide products or services; its brands do. They share the same values but have different, complementary products and services, covering the full aircraft lifecycle. The group's maintenance business is based at Tallinn Airport in Estonia, and its world map shows 15 offices, 8 engine stand hubs and 6 hangars, along with line stations and branches in many countries.

Magnetic Assets

• Magnetic Leasing: short and long term leasing of aircraft, engines and landing gear, with a focus on mid to end of life A320 and B737 family aircraft. It was founded in 2017 as a joint venture with Crestline Investors. It also handles end of life asset management, aircraft preservation, restoration, transition and remarketing, and pre-purchase inspections
• Magnetic Enginestands: an online platform for short and long term lease of certified engine stands for airlines, MROs, engine shops, leasing companies and freight forwarders
• Magnetic Trading: spare parts, components and materials supply in more than 80 countries, with repair management programs, consignment and management of parts and consumables, engine spare parts solutions, logistics and distribution. In February 2026 it acquired two Airbus A320-214 aircraft for teardown in the United States, moving from brokerage toward direct teardown and used serviceable material

Magnetic Maintenance

• Magnetic MRO: base maintenance for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 family aircraft in Tallinn, plus a workshop for wheels, brakes, escape slides, batteries and auxiliary equipment. It began in 1995 as the maintenance department of Estonian Air and has been part of the Guangzhou Hangxin Aviation Technology group since 2018. In June 2026 it widened its Pratt and Whitney approval to more PW1000G-series engines on A320neo family aircraft
• Magnetic Engines: engine repair and inspection, mainly the CFM56 family, set up as a separate brand in 2021. In July 2026 it brought rotor balancing in house with two balancing machines, which allows LPT major module and fan and booster module overhaul and life limited part replacement on HPC and HPT rotors
• Magnetic Line: certified aircraft line maintenance, formerly Direct Maintenance, founded in 2001 and part of the group since 2019

Magnetic Talents

• Magnetic Engineering: continuing airworthiness management, development of operational documents such as AML and MEL, heavy check management, technical documentation, weight and balance calculation and shop visit management
• Magnetic Training: EASA Part-147 maintenance training, first approved by the Estonian authority in 2016, with a dedicated facility in Tallinn since 2018 and online training approval since 2020

Magnetic Creative

Magnetic Creative is the innovation hub of the group. Its roots go back to 1962 as Aviation Furnishings International, and the production site moved to Tallinn in 2020. Magnetic MRO acquired it in 2016 and it was rebranded in 2021. It produced the first bar area on board an aircraft, for Virgin Atlantic.
