About MAF International

Mission Aviation Fellowship International, called MAF, is an international Christian organisation. It uses aviation to bring help, hope and healing to people living in isolation and poverty. Its operations centre is in Ashford, Kent, United Kingdom.

The site says that every six minutes a MAF aircraft takes off or lands somewhere in the world. Its aircraft carry people from remote villages. They also support missions, churches, aid and development agencies, and others working with cut off communities.

In 2025, the site reports 23,792 flight legs, 1,830,932 nautical miles flown and 71,863 passengers. In 2023 the figures were 47,290 flight legs, 3,439,255 nautical miles and 135,630 passengers.

MAF runs programmes in Arnhem Land, Chad, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, South Sudan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste and Uganda. Each programme has its own page on the site.

The organisation offers flight and engineering training, disaster response, quality and safety work, technology services and creation care. People can request a flight, work overseas, or serve with MAF through the site.

MAF says it is reviewed and held accountable by independent groups, including CHS Alliance, GNDR, the eucord network, Climate Stewards and ACFID. It is an ACNC registered charity in Australia, and it is a registered charity in England and Wales.

The site has news and stories, a donate page and a contact page with office addresses. The UK office phone is +44 1233 895500.
