LSG Sky Chefs is the catering brand of the LSG Group, an airline catering and onboard retail company with its registered office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The group says it has more than 75 years of experience and runs two brands: LSG Sky Chefs for catering, and Retail inMotion for onboard retail and product development.

History

The company traces its roots to Sky Chefs, set up by American Airlines in Texas in 1941, and to LSG, set up by Lufthansa in Germany in 1966. LSG took full ownership of Sky Chefs in 2001, and the LSG Group umbrella brand was launched in 2016.
