Live Earth Imaging

Live Earth Imaging says it will deliver real-time satellite imagery of almost any location on Earth. The company was founded in 2015, according to its about page. Its headquarters is at 1338 South Foothill Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah. The site describes its work as intelligence from satellite imagery for disaster, humanitarian and conflict work.

The company describes a constellation of three satellites in geostationary orbit over the equator. Each satellite has two optical sensors. One hemispherical sensor watches about 97 percent of Earth's surface all the time. A narrow field sensor can point at a specific area of up to 40,000 square kilometers.

The site says the narrow field sensor can move to a new location in under 15 seconds. It says full color images can reach a user within 5 seconds. Continuous motion imagery is a series of images taken one second apart. The site says this can help track ships, planes and other objects.

The site lists several products. These include digital imagery, motion imagery, night time imagery, 24-hour surveillance, real-time alerts and change detection. The site says night sensors can show unlit objects under half to full moon light. It says live alerts are planned for events such as rocket launches, deforestation and oil spills.

Frank Williams is listed as the founder and principal. The site says he has over 40 years of experience in aerospace development and management. It lists earlier roles at L3 Communications, AstroVision International, IOSTAR Corporation, Space Tug Corporation and INTRASPACE Corporation. He also worked on remote sensing technologies for the U.S. Air Force.

The company has a second office at 1440 G Street in Washington, DC. The contact page has a form for name, email, subject and message. The site lists no social media accounts.
