Legacy Air, Inc. is an aircraft maintenance and service center at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport in Broomfield, Colorado. The company cites 28 years of experience on many aircraft types. Whether an aircraft is 40 years old or brand new, the company keeps it running efficiently and safely. Customers come from all over the country.

The company offers complete engine and airframe services, from tires to wings and from spark plugs to complete engine replacement. Its work includes 50 hour inspections, annual and 100 hour inspections, and fuel system setup. No job is too big or small.

The 50 hour inspection includes an oil filter check, and oil analysis is available at the owner's request. The shop examines the engine while the oil drains, checks the tires, services the battery and makes the log book entries.

The 100 hour and annual inspections use detailed checklists and proven methods for every area of the aircraft. Owners are welcome to come by and see the plane while it is opened up for inspection. Any airworthy issues are explained in person.

The fuel system service sets fuel mixtures, upper and lower deck pressures, metered and unmetered fuel pressures and manifold pressure. The team also checks instrument accuracy. It is one of only a few facilities in the country with this equipment.

The shop has been factory trained at Garmin's facility in Olathe, Kansas. It handles Garmin G1000 troubleshooting and repair, including Technically Advanced Aircraft panels. Sheet metal repair fixes hangar rash, corrosion and wind damage. Dynamic propeller balancing reduces vibration and extends propeller life.

Legacy Air also links to two related businesses, AeroProp and Freedom Air Avionics. Customers can call or use the contact form, and the team handles questions of any complexity.
