Le Journal de l'Aviation

Le Journal de l'Aviation is a French-language aviation news publication based in Paris. Founded in 2011, it continues Essenciel, the news section of the AEROCONTACT site created in 2003, and is a private, independent press company and a subsidiary of the AEROCONTACT group. The publication holds CPPAP press registration number 0930 X 91953, valid until September 2030. Its co-founders are Romain Guillot, who is publication director, and Frederic Vergoz.

Coverage

The editorial line concentrates on the global aerospace industry, commercial aviation, business aviation, MRO and after-sales services, civil aircraft financing and leasing, defence aerospace and careers and appointments. Articles are written by professional journalists, and the newsroom is a member of the AJPAE, the French association of aerospace journalists. The site runs a continuous news feed, an editorial selection, long-form dossiers such as its coverage of the Airbus A350F first flight, daily newsletters and paid subscriptions that unlock premium articles. Dedicated editorial contacts exist for industry and technology, maintenance, air transport, defence, careers and the events agenda.
