Karen SA

Karen SA is a Swiss helicopter company founded in 1999 by Enzo Carlino, a pilot, and Luca Carlino, an engineer, pilot and instructor. Its operational and maintenance bases are at Lodrino airport in Ticino, and its legal address is in Tesserete. It serves private and business clients and public bodies, and works across Europe, Africa and Asia.

• Helicopter management: consultancy, delivery assistance and hangarage, technical surveillance, crew leasing, crew training and dispatching

Maintenance

Karen SA has been an official Leonardo Helicopters service station since 2004. Its team has experience in line and base maintenance on the AW139, AW169, AW189 (line), A109 and AW109 series, AW119, Bell 505, Bell 206, Bell 212 and 412, and Bell 429.

Training

Karen SA is an Approved Training Organisation recognised by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation and a Part 147 maintenance training organisation. It states that its ATO is also recognised in Russia and African countries, where it runs recurrent and refresher pilot training and proficiency checks.
