JL Aviation Inc.

JL Aviation Inc. is a veteran owned and operated helicopter company in the Pacific Northwest. Founder Jeff Linscott bought a Bell 206 JetRanger in 1996 and started the company at Portland International Airport. It now operates from its own private airport, FLY JLA (OR72), at Boring, east of Portland, Oregon, and has flown in North America and Alaska.

• Aerial film and photography, with partners able to provide Cineflex, ShotOver and Tyler stabilised camera platforms, or flights with doors removed
• Utility support for remote areas, moving people and equipment, including hazardous materials, in mountain, high altitude and deep snow terrain
• Charter for groups of any size and custom air tours of the Pacific Northwest
• Aerial survey: power line and right-of-way patrol, infrared inspection, LiDAR patrol and wildlife survey
• External load work, with loads of up to 1,200 lb placed precisely

Fleet

• Bell 206L: pilot plus six passengers, range 375 miles
• Bell 206B3: pilot plus four passengers, range 360 miles
• Airbus BO-105S: pilot plus four passengers, range up to 450 miles with auxiliary fuel
• 4x4 support trucks carrying ground equipment, parts and up to 380 gallons of jet fuel for operations away from airports
